AudioWorld playground privacy

Effective date: August 25, 2026

Most playground games run entirely in your browser. An email account or Google sign-in can be used on the web, Google sign-in is used in the Android app, and Sign in with Apple is used in the iOS app for the AI Voice tool, which uses an AudioWorld-operated inference server.

Account data

When you create an email account, AudioWorld temporarily stores a hashed one-time verification code with your email address, display name, and one-way password hash. The temporary registration request expires, and the original password and verification code are never stored. Social sign-in provides an account identifier, verified or relay email address, and profile information you choose to share from Google or Apple. We also store login sessions, TTS usage, advertising reward balance, and subscription entitlement needed to operate your account. Both mobile apps provide in-app account deletion; deletion also revokes the stored Sign in with Apple token when applicable.

AI Voice generation

Regular AudioWorld TTS uses a fixed catalog of 25 general-purpose synthetic voice presets. Creator and Pro Voice Tools may accept recorded or uploaded audio only with explicit consent and only when the user owns the voice or has explicit authorization; impersonation is prohibited. Text, selected preset settings, and consent-gated Voice Tools audio are sent to the inference server to create audio. Submitted Voice Tools source audio and transcripts are deleted from the inference working directory after processing and are not retained in the saved-audio library. On the web, generated audio is stored in private object storage so the signed-in user can reopen or download it for up to 30 days. It is then automatically deleted. Free accounts can reopen their three most recent unexpired results; paid accounts can reopen all unexpired results. Submitted text is not retained in the saved-audio library; usage records retain only operational metadata such as text hash, character count, selected voice, status, and timestamps. In the Android app, Creator and Pro users may save generated WAV files only in app-private device storage; other plans receive a temporary preview that is removed from cache by the app or operating system. Do not submit sensitive text.

Payments

Apple processes purchases made in the iOS app through In-App Purchase, Google processes Android purchases through Google Play Billing, and Toss Payments processes web card registration and recurring charges. AudioWorld does not receive or store full card numbers. It stores encrypted billing identifiers, transaction records, and subscription status needed to provide paid access, renew subscriptions, process cancellation, and provide support.

Mobile advertising

The free Android app displays banner ads and offers optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob. The iOS app may offer optional rewarded ads. Google User Messaging Platform is used to obtain and manage privacy choices where required. The Android app does not request the advertising ID permission, and personalized ads are disabled in the current app configuration. Server-side verification data is used to prevent reward fraud.

Microphone processing

Pitch Challenge requests microphone permission only after you start a challenge. Its audio samples are processed locally in browser memory to estimate pitch and are not uploaded.

Game data

Pitch Challenge names and leaderboard times are stored only in your browser. Roulette choices, rhythm taps, and scores also stay on your device. A roulette share link places its setup in the URL so you can intentionally share it.

Operations and retention

Infrastructure providers may process standard connection information such as IP address, request time, and browser metadata for security and reliability. Account, usage, and billing entitlement records are retained while needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You may request account deletion by email; billing records may need to be retained where required by law.

Contact

Questions and deletion requests can be sent to contact@audioworld.ai.

Optional marketing emails

When you separately opt in, AudioWorld stores your consent status, consent time and source, and may send product updates, usage tips, and offers through Resend. This consent is optional and is not required to create or use an account. Every marketing email identifies the sender and includes an unsubscribe link. You can also withdraw consent at any time in Account settings. Withdrawal does not affect service notices, security messages, payment notices, or email verification required to provide the Service.
